What is Exilis?

How does Exilis work?
Fat cells are actually stored in the body in lobules that are clustered like a bunch of grapes. These clusters are wrapped in a fibrous tissue layer like a hairnet that holds them together. This fibrous tissue layer makes it difficult to reach the fatty clusters without a liposuction cannula or a lot of lengthy radiofrequency treatments.
The Exilis system is able to rattle the fat lobules out of their fibrous cage, while blasting them with heat to ramp up their metabolic activity and shrink the size of the fat cells.
How many treatments do I need?
Everyone is different, but in general most people begin to see a measurable difference after only 1or 2 visits and see excellent results after only 4 treatment sessions. Clients who want to lose larger volumes may opt for 6 or more treatment sessions.

Exilis treats subcutaneous fat.
There are two types of fat cells - Subcutaneous and Visceral.
Subcutaneous fat is located directly above the skeletal muscle and below the skin. Its superficial placement is what ensures proper depth penetration of the radiofrequency and ultrasound energy.
If you have a high volume of visceral fat (large abdomen) you can do the Exilis treatment, however you may be a better candidate for Lipo-Ex™, the first ever technology to melt the unhealthy and dangerous visceral fat located behind the muscle wall. (Many men tend to store fat in this area)
